Jared graduated from Emporia State University in 1991 with a Bachlor of Science in Business. He has been in the investment and insurance business since 1991. He joined Capital Portfolio Management in 2005. Jared and his wife Laurie live outside of Topeka in Berryton. Together they have raised 3 children. Jared has refereed high school football in Kansas for over 30 years. When he is not working or being booed, Jared likes to spend his time outdoors fishing, hiking or golfing.
